The Time You Held My Hand

Tragic incidents in life. It’s bad that it happened but I never thought I would be able to use it as a stable story material. It hurts a lot to actually try to remember everything that happened in life; especially the Not-so-Nice ones.

The Time You Held My Hand was basically a story summarizing my life. It summarized my love life; my first time being in love and experiencing the things that you’re supposed to do with the person you love.

I wrote The Time You Held My Hand on Wattpad and I feel like this story breaks the general concept of typical boys love stories. The general view on boys love stories always involve sex and I feel like its an inaccurate interpretation. Perhaps it’s to attract more readers but I for one definitely don’t like involving sex as part of a story’s plot.

I hope The Time You Held My Hand can be a story that helps people identify the parts of their life. They don’t end up being part of something that is slowly draining their purpose in life and once the light is shed on that, they fall into the abyss of despair. I feel like being able to identify the different parts of your life; if it’s real or fake, if you’re in a toxic environment or not. Being able to identify all that helps someone prepare themselves for the worst. It doesn’t just help themselves; they help their parents. Parents would be overjoyed to know their child is doing well instead of struggling with society’s critiques.
